QAcoustics, the award winning British loudspeaker company; is pleased to announce the launch of 'Media 4'; an excellent new and genuinely hi-fi 'Soundbar' with aptX Bluetooth connectivity and a built-in subwoofer.

The Media 4 is a stereo, 2.1 configuration soundbar, incorporating a highly dynamic 100 Watts of multi-channel power amplification.

The left channel and right channel speakers are 65mm x 65mm advanced 'BMR' (Balanced Mode Radiator) designs, which deliver ultra-wide sound dispersion, ensuring TV and movie soundtracks are enjoyed wherever listeners sit within the room. The subwoofer is a twin coil, 150mm x 120mm elliptical design which produces a fast, detailed and extended bass. As you would expect, in a Q Acoustics product of this type, the Q M4's exceptional sound quality has been fine tuned using high precision digital filters in a DSP (Digital Signal Processor).

The Q M4 boasts four inputs. Two conventional analogue stereo line level inputs (1 x 3.5mm mini jack, 1 x pair phono sockets). A BluetoothV4.0 wireless receiver (with advanced 'aptX' capability for improved soundquality) and lastly a digital input, featuring a low distortion Digital toAnalogue Converter (DAC), accessed via a 'Toslink' optical cable. Compatible Smartphone scan also connect to the Q M4 using 'NFC' (Near Field Communication).

If your television is placed on your wall, the Media 4soundbar can also be wall-mounted using the mounting plate provided in the box.When wall-mounted the distinctive flared shape of the Q M4 allows sufficient clearance behind the unit for cable entry. If your TV is table mounted optional feet are supplied to ensure that the down-firing subwoofer operation is optimal.

In addition to the small, elegant, infrared remote control included with the Q M4, it can be operated by the remote controls which come with many satellite and cable TV boxes, (including UK 'Sky' and 'Virgin' models).

We think it's unlikely, but if any enthusiasts need to 'feel the earth move' a separate subwoofer output is also provided.

The new Q Acoustics Media 4 will be available from authorised dealers from June 2014. In the UK, the suggested retail price is £399.95 and everything required is included in the carton:
