Imerge Appoints Armour Home as Exclusive UK Distributor

Imerge - the Cambridge-based pioneer of the hard disk media server - is delighted to announce an exclusive agreement with Armour Home to distribute its products in the UK (excluding Northern Ireland), effective immediately.

For Imerge, this is something of a 'homecoming'; a previous distribution deal with Armour expired three years ago, and both parties are delighted to have rekindled their relationship.

"We are delighted to announce that our product line will be distributed exclusively by Armour in the UK," said Cameron Wade, CEO of Imerge. "It has been a while since our last venture together, and in that time, we have refocused and improved our products and business acumen. To tie in with Armour at this point in time really makes sense for the Imerge brand. Not only are we working with an esteemed partner, but an extension of the Imerge family; an organisation that upholds the very virtues and pioneering spirit we hold dear to this brand."

The current Imerge product range includes the world's best-selling music server, the S3000 SoundServer, and the highly acclaimed MS5000 MediaServer - a high-definition video server and multi-room audio server, uniquely incorporated into a single chassis. At the top of the range is the new MS1 MediaServer and XiVASafe ultra-secure hard disc storage system - the most advanced management and archiving solution for high-definition music and movies currently available.

These market-leading server components integrate perfectly with Armour's distribution portfolio, which includes a number of control options for custom installations. Products from the likes of Systemline and Nevo work seamlessly with Imerge components, delivering complete solutions for installers and end-users alike. The synergy between Imerge and Armour extends beyond the two companies' product base to their intrinsic corporate philosophies. Both are dedicated to providing the best possible experience for retailers and consumers, "enhancing the pleasure and removing the pain, every step of the way".

"We are thrilled to be renewing our business relationship with Imerge," said Rob Neil, Sales Director for Armour Home. "Our admiration for their products has never faltered and the commercial synergy between our two companies is clear. Their product line up is stronger than ever and our sales team is enthusiastic about representing the brand once again."
