Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an independent international medical humanitarian organisation that delivers emergency aid in more than 60 countries to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural or man-made disasters or exclusion from healthcare. MSF was awarded the 1999 Nobel Peace Prize.
What Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) does
MSFs core work is providing medical aid in crisis situations - armed conflicts, epidemics, famines and natural disasters such as floods and earthquakes. All these situations call for a rapid response with specialised medical and logistical help.
